I’m Jess — an air pollution scientist, former U.S. diplomat, union member, mom, and public servant who has spent my career fighting for people and the planet.

When the federal government dismantled USAID, the agency where I worked, I didn’t step back — I stepped up. I helped organize and support my community, just as I’ve spent my career bringing people together to solve difficult challenges.
